We caught up with Ruggeri to explore how his company is reshaping the future of player engagement using cutting-edge AI that doesn’t just personalise—it pinpoints.

In the fast-evolving world of iGaming, standing out means speaking to players at the right time, in the right way and on the right channel. Few understand this better than Antonio Ruggeri, CEO of scoreconnect. We caught up with Ruggeri to explore how his company is reshaping the future of player engagement using cutting-edge AI that doesn’t just personalise—it pinpoints.

scoreconnect uses advanced AI to deliver real-time, personalised messaging. How does the AI engine work behind the scenes?

We connect directly to the operator’s live data via PAM or CRM. Nothing is pre-baked or generic. The system builds micro-segments based on actions, not assumptions. It sends messages that match timing, context, and intent. And it’s not just about personalisation. It’s about precision. Right audience, right moment, right format. We also run across Telegram and WhatsApp without extra layers.

You’ve announced several high-profile partnerships. Can you share more about them and how they support scoreconnect’s international growth?

We had the pleasure of signing with TriunfoBet in Venezuela, JuegaEnLinea in Peru, and Aposta1 in Brazil. We also have direct integrations with Blokotech PAM and Optimove. These partnerships help on two fronts: fast deployment and constant feedback. We’re learning how real teams operate in different markets and adjusting based on that—not theory. It’s not about collecting logos. It’s about building with people who push the product forward.

Why is LatAm such a strong opportunity for scoreconnect?

The whole region is mobile-first and messaging-first. People spend more time on Telegram and WhatsApp than on websites or apps. If you want to engage players there, that’s where you need to be. That’s where we operate. And operators know that retention is the key. Acquisition costs are climbing. You need tools that drive repeat activity, not just visibility.

How is scoreconnect adapting to different LatAm markets?

We treat each country as a unique case. Brazil, Peru or Colombia all play differently. Same with language and tone. We’re not just translating content. We’re tuning the tool to pick up betting slang, behavioural differences, and preferred formats. Operators also use their own tags, VIP structures, and promo calendars. So we keep the platform flexible. They shape the logic, we power the delivery.

Where are you seeing the most traction so far in LatAm? And why?

Brazil, Peru and Chile. Brazil has scale and momentum on the back of the recent regulation, despite the natural friction that it brought to the market as the operators adjusted to the new reality. Peru is quieter but sharp. The teams there think in terms of retention and CRM. They’re not chasing only volume; they want quality. That fits how we work. Chile will likely be the next brother to join the regulated countries’ family. And naturally has that exciting dynamism typical of these moments.

What’s been the hardest part about entering LatAm? How are you dealing with it?

Some operators don’t have everything centralised, or their systems don’t talk to each other. So we made a standalone version that can make the go-to-market lighter and more modular. Less friction, more results.

What’s coming next in your LatAm roadmap? Any new partnerships or features?

We released Telegram Play, so users can bet or claim promos directly inside the Telegram chat. No redirects, no delays. We’re also testing voice campaigns. Beyond that, we’re building triggers based on match events, like sending a promo after a red card. Timing matters, and we want the system to react faster than any human can.

You’re attending SBC Americas. What will you be showing to the LatAm crowd there?

We’ll present and demo Telegram Play, fully functional. You’ll see players claim bonuses, place bets, and get updates, all inside the chat window. We’ll also showcase our segment builder. No filters, no complex rules. Just fast execution.

Can you give an example of scoreconnect’s real-world impact?

TriunfoBet ran a three-month test with us. Retention went up 27%. Turnover from messaging increased 15%. Conversion from sign-up to deposit jumped 16%. One of the best campaigns triggered a message mid-match when the user’s bet went sideways. Simple timing, strong result. No need for more messages. Just better ones.

Where’s AI-driven communication headed in iGaming? What’s scoreconnect’s role in that shift?

Right now, most systems react too late or follow rigid flows. We’re shifting to intent-based interactions. What’s the player doing now, what is happening now and what should happen next? We brought that logic into Telegram, WhatsApp, and beyond. Not just support or promo, but full user interaction flows. We’re not replacing CRMs. We’re making them move faster and talk smarter.

What’s the biggest advantage new partners notice when they start using scoreconnect?

Better conversion. Better reactivation. Clear impact from week one. With no arduous training required, you connect, launch, and start seeing what’s working.
